Pasco County’s early voting for the Nov. 3 general election ends at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Dade City voters can use the East Pasco Government Center at 14236 6th St., and county voters may vote at any of the 12 early-voting sites.

Pasco County is waiving residential tire disposal fees through Nov. 1, with the East Pasco Transfer Station in Dade City as the local drop-off site. Saturday, Oct. 31 is the last scheduled day to use the waiver before it ends.

The farm’s events page lists a Halloween-weekend Fall Festival with corn bin play, hayrides, pony rides and a pumpkin patch at 17143 Lake Iola Road.

Pasco EDC’s SMARTstart program lists a free Funding Forum for Wednesday evening at the East Pasco Entrepreneur Center in Dade City. The panel will include representatives from Florida SBDC at USF, SouthState Bank and Brickell Capital Finance.

The city has posted notice for an Oct. 27 public hearing on Ordinance 2026-22, which would pause certain development applications tied to data centers and other large-load customers inside city limits.

Moffitt’s new research center at Speros in Land O’ Lakes is expected to house about 250 researchers and staff by year-end.
